At every Bluebird facility, we offer units ranging from below 5’ x 5’ to 10’ x 30’ or even larger, so you can find the right amount of storage space. Every Bluebird storage facility is unique, but we offer our customers a variety of storage units. Our units range from climate-controlled storage to temperature-controlled storage, and unheated storage units. Depending on your local Bluebird facility, you can select the storage unit with the climate regulation you need.
Every Bluebird location offers a variety of storage units with different accessibility. Our indoor storage units are securely indoors and can only be accessed from within our facility. Our drive-up units can be conveniently accessed outside, allowing you to park right alongside your unit for easy loading and unloading. Finally, our breezeway units can be accessed from beneath a covered breezeway, so you have more protection while unloading your car or truck. Yes! If you find yourself in need of more - or less - space, our team can help you find a better unit for your needs. At Bluebird, you’re not locked into any long-term contracts, so you can change units at any time, depending on our current availability.
Yes! If you’re about to move into a storage unit, our facility offers moving and storage supplies that help protect your belongings. Our supplies range from boxes, packing tape, mattress and furniture covers, and so much more!
Yes, Bluebird Self Storage offers business storage andmoving storage solutions at every location! Our storage units are equipped to store just about anything you need. In addition, we also offervehicle,RV, andboat storage at select facility locations.
At select facilities, we offer indoor and outdoor vehicle storage, outdoor RV parking, and outdoor boat parking. Explore our Storage Locator to see which local Bluebird facility offers these storage options.
To store a vehicle at one of our facilities, we ask for proof of registration and insurance. Once those are confirmed, you can store your vehicle as long as you’d like within the storage unit or in our on-site parking lot - we don’t require any long-term agreements!
A storage unit is typically 8-9 feet tall.

Yes - in addition to our moving and packing supplies, we have moving carts or hand dollies available at our facilities.

Yes, you can reserve a unit online, over the phone, or in person for free! Tell us when you’d like to move in, and once that date is confirmed, we will hold that exact unit for you.
Simply click on the rent now button at the top of our website or on the Bluebird location nearest you to rent a unit online.
We offer virtual tours that allow customers to view our facilities and better understand our amenities and storage units. If you’d like to see the inside of our facilities, go to our Virtual Tours page and click on the nearest Bluebird location.
We don’t have any long-term agreements at Bluebird, so you can rent your unit for as little as a month or two or upwards of a year if you’d like! If circumstances change, we can always extend or shorten your storage stay with us.
A storage unit’s cost depends on the size and features of the unit. The larger the unit, and the more features you require, the price is likely to change. We recommend reviewing your storage requirements and comparing unit sizes to find something that fits your budget and your belongings.
We can arrange automatic payments each month on a date of your choice, so you know exactly when payment is due every month.
You, selected family, and any business associates can access your local facility by using our secure keypad entry using a personal security code. Individual units are protected by a lock that is only accessible by the customer. Only contacts you authorize will be able to access your unit.

Typical daily access hours are from 6AM - 11PM, so you can always access your stuff when you need it. Check with the location nearest you for more information about access hours.
You can always receive help from a Bluebird team member during our business hours, so check your local Bluebird’s hours of operation to see when a team member can assist!

Do I need insurance for the contents of my unit?

Yes, all tenants are required to have a Contents Protection Plan for the value of their belongings. For your convenience, we offer a Contents Protection Plan with different options that you can purchase.
Yes, we do! We’re a company that values your dollar. That’s why we offer many self storage discounts, including 20% off to all veterans and armed forces. To see all discounts offered, explore ourdiscounts page.
You can rent for as long or short as you need. Stay as little as 1 month!
The administrative fee is a one-time fee that covers the setup of your unit and account in our systems. Through this account setup, you’ll be able to view your balance and make payments online!
