Self Storage Units

Finding the right storage unit depends on the number of possessions you plan on storing at our facility. The more items you have, the more space you’ll need. At every Bluebird facility, we offer units ranging from below 5’ x 5’ to 10’ x 30’ or even larger, so you can find the right amount of storage space. Every Bluebird storage facility is unique, but we offer our customers a variety of storage units. Our units range from climate-controlled storage, temperature-controlled storage, humidity-controlled storage, and unheated storage units. Depending on your local Bluebird facility, you can select the storage unit with the climate regulation you need

Every Bluebird location offers a variety of storage units with different accessibility. Our indoor storage units are securely indoors and can only be accessed from within our facility. Our drive-up units can be conveniently accessed outside, allowing you to park right alongside your unit for easy loading and unloading. Finally, our breezeway units can be accessed from beneath a covered breezeway, so you have more protection while unloading your car or truck.

Yes! If you find yourself in need of more – or less – space, our team can help you find a better unit for your needs. At Bluebird, you’re not locked into any long-term contracts, so you can change units at any time, depending on our current availability.

Yes! If you’re about to move into a storage unit, our facility offers moving and storage supplies that help protect your belongings. Our supplies range from boxes, packing tape, mattress and furniture covers, to so much more!

Storage Types

Yes, Bluebird Self Storage offers business storage and moving storage solutions at every location! Our storage units are equipped to store just about anything you need. In addition to these, we also offer vehicle, RV, and boating storage at select facility locations.

At select facilities, we offer indoor and outdoor vehicle storage, outdoor RV parking, and outdoor boat parking. Explore our Storage Locator to see which local Bluebird facility offers these storage options.

To store a vehicle at one of our facilities, we ask for proof of registration and insurance. Once those are confirmed, you can store your vehicle as long as you’d like within the storage unit or in our on-site parking lot – we don’t require any long-term agreements!

Self Storage Amenities

Yes – in addition to our moving and packing supplies, we have moving carts or hand dollies available at our facilities.

Even though every Bluebird location is unique, we also offer a set of universal amenities at every location that includes the following:

Storage Rentals

Yes, you can reserve a unit online, over the phone, or in person for free! Tell us when you’d like to move in, and once that date is confirmed, we will hold that exact unit for you.

Simply click on the rent now button at the top of our website or on the Bluebird location nearest you to rent a unit online.

We offer virtual tours that allow customers to view our facilities and better understand our amenities and storage units. If you’d like to see the inside of our facilities, go to our Virtual Tours page and click on the nearest Bluebird location.

We don’t have any long-term agreements at Bluebird, so you can rent your unit for as little as a month or two or upwards of a year if you’d like! If circumstances change, we can always extend or shorten your storage stay with us.

A storage unit’s cost depends on the size and features of the unit. The larger the unit, and the more features you require, the price is likely to change. We recommend reviewing your storage requirements and comparing unit sizes to find something that fits your budget and your belongings.

We can arrange automatic payments each month on a date of your choice, so you know exactly when payment is due every month.

You, selected family, and any business associates can access your local facility by using our secure keypad entry using a personal security code. Individual units are protected by a lock that is only accessible by the customer. Only contacts you authorize will be able to access your unit.

Daily access hours are from 6 AM – 11 PM, so you can always access your stuff when you need it.

You can always receive help from a Bluebird team member during our business hours, so check your local Bluebird’s hours of operation to see when a team member can assist!

Canada Day Closure

Our facilities will be closed on Friday, July 1st in observance of Canada Day.

Easily Switch Sizes

Need a larger size? Don’t worry! If you’ve rented or reserved a unit online and realize that you need a different size, we’ll help you switch size quickly and easily.

Full Month’s Value

At Bluebird, we believe that every great relationship starts with honesty, and for us, honesty means providing you with a full month’s value of storage. Many self-storage facilities pull what’s called the ‘four-week sneak’, meaning they charge you on a four-week cycle instead of basing their rates on a full month. This means you’ll end up paying 13 times per year instead of 12 – that’s 8.33% more! At Bluebird, in addition to our locked-in rent prices, we base our rates on a full month’s service, not 28-day billing cycles. Here, you pay one price, once a month, for one year, because we value our customers. Your Bluebird experience includes valuable amenities and 100% transparent pricing from the start.

7 Day Risk Free Trial

Aren’t sure if we’re your perfect match? If you are not completely satisfied within seven days after moving in, we will refund 100% of your rent and administrative fees. Plus, we won’t force you to sign any long-term agreements so that you can up-size or down-size to the unit you need at any time. Here, what you see is what you pay for.

No Rent Increases For 365 Days

Too many storage facilities offer outrageously low introductory (teaser) rates, enticing customers to choose their facility, only to increase rent every 3-6 months. Many facilities offer these below market prices, just so they can secure the sale – but don’t actually plan on locking in these rates. These bait and switch tactics end up costing you more money in the long run, and in our eyes, that’s just downright dishonest and unfair.

At Bluebird, we value your dollar and your trust. Part of earning your trust means we keep our prices honest – that’s why we won’t raise your rent for at least 365 days from your move-in date. That’s right, you’ll have the same price for a full year’s worth of storage because that’s exactly what you signed up for! At Bluebird, we believe in being consistent with our pricing so you always know what to expect every month. Also, being upfront about our pricing is the right thing to do! With Bluebird, there’s no dupes, fine print, or miscommunication about pricing – you can count on your rent being consistent for a full 365 days. We don’t view you as a transaction, we view you as a valued relationship.
